Community safety is one of the top priorities for people living in East Sussex. The main aim of the East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership is to make our county a safer place to live.

They will do this by:

  • protecting vulnerable people
  • identifying those at risk of harm
  • keeping our communities safe

They work to improve safety by sharing information and taking joint action. Our focus is on the issues residents are most concerned about, including:

  • domestic abuse and sexual violence
  • modern slavery, human trafficking and adult exploitation
  • drug and alcohol misuse
  • preventing violent extremism and radicalisation
  • preventing and reducing serious violence
  • reducing anti-social behaviour, hate crime and fraud
