Community safety is one of the top priorities for people living in East Sussex. The main aim of the East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership is to make our county a safer place to live.
They will do this by:
- protecting vulnerable people
- identifying those at risk of harm
- keeping our communities safe
They work to improve safety by sharing information and taking joint action. Our focus is on the issues residents are most concerned about, including:
- domestic abuse and sexual violence
- modern slavery, human trafficking and adult exploitation
- drug and alcohol misuse
- preventing violent extremism and radicalisation
- preventing and reducing serious violence
- reducing anti-social behaviour, hate crime and fraud
