Alcohol data briefing 2024

The East Sussex alcohol harm reduction strategy 2021-2026 acknowledges the complex nature of alcohol harm and outlines a whole system approach to address the social determinants of alcohol harm.

The strategy outlines five ambitions that describe how East Sussex will work towards fostering a healthier relationship with alcohol.

To reach these five ambitions, there are four guiding priority areas which are:

1. Encouraging a healthy relationship with alcohol
2. Protecting children, young people, and their families
3. Making effective treatment and recovery accessible to all who need it
4. Creating safe environments in East Sussex
